HORIZON SERIES "is a monthly cultural show covering
entire spectrum of Indian Dance, Music and Instrumental
percussion to promote , support & provide a platform
to ICCR empanelled upcoming artists under the "proficient
category" from Western India.

Ms.Asavari
Rahalkar trained under the guidance of
Guru Pandita Rohini Bhate in Guru Shishya parampara
style. She has qualified for Nritya Visharad, Nritya
Alankar and Sangeet Visharad (Hindustani Vocal)
from Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandal.
She has given many solo performances and participated
in various prestigious Mahotsavas like Kalka Binda
Mahotsav (Lucknow), Jaipur Gharana Festival (Delhi),
Kerala Filmfare Award Ceremony (Trivandrum). At
the young age of 14, she created solo and group
items on Pt.Ravi Shankar’s Sitar composition,
Asavari has also created and directed a composition
choreographed to the music “Nut Cracker”
composed by Tchaikovsky.
